FOUNDER STORY
Founded by Garrett Meister, an artist and photographer, he created THIR13TEEN as a place to showcase his work. He was never interested in doing gallery shows or trying to sell prints, and spent his professional career marketing and building brands in the Action Sports and Outdoor industries. THIR13TEEN is the culmination of all his personal and professional passions represented in a physical form for others to wear, collect, and enjoy.
WHAT IS THIR13TEEN?
The brand and logo is representative of numerous deeper meanings. Our founder, Garrett, was born on a Friday the 13th, and culturally we all know this to be "unlucky". But as a kid his parents flipped that and told him that instead, he was EXTRA lucky... and so he was. As an adult that experience taught him that we are all in control of our luck. The number 13 is his personal representation of luck, and so THIR13TEEN is meant to remind everyone that LUCK IS A STATE OF MIND.

Being fans of all things creative, street wear, and the concept of collectibility, we are taking Art and Photography and bringing it a new life. With limited edition apparel featuring artwork and photography from creatives all over the world, THIR13TEEN pieces are to be worn, traded, or preserved... that's where we leave it up to you.
THE AGENCY
Alongside the THIR13TEEN collection of apparel and products, we keep our creativity active by providing Marketing and Branding services to other brands and businesses. This gives us an edge as a brand and community of creatives, while also providing a unique perspective and an exceptionally high quality of work to our clients. We maintain a large roster of freelancers that provide a wide array of expertise, so that we can custom-build our creative teams to suit our client's needs.
